GS M149 Critical Media Literacy Productions Screening, Panel, and Q&A

Students from Professor Rhonda Hammer’s Winter 2023 course Media: Gender, Race, Class, and Sexuality (GS M149) created final productions to demonstrate their understanding of critical media literacy. Watch some stand-out video projects, including “Mouse in the Wall,” “Beauty Hurts,” and “Oh, The Horror.”, which tackle different impacts of media consumption and representation on marginalized communities. We will be screening these production and hosting a panel on each with the student filmmakers, including a Q&A from the audience.
