The Academic Conference for English Students (ACES) provides a collaborative forum for students of literature to give oral presentations of their research and creative work. The program committee invites and encourages all English and American Literature and Culture majors and English minors to submit for consideration the best academic essays or examples of creative writing on any topic or theme they have produced in an English course at UCLA.
Students whose work is accepted will deliver their presentations at a designated time on the day of the conference, with consecutive panels and roundtable presentations held throughout the day.
