URW 2024 Highlights

Undergraduate Research Week 2024’s virtual Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase featured the research and creative projects of 1,640 students, with 656 livestreamed presentations on May 21 and 605 recorded presentations, multimedia, and creative exhibits throughout the week.

This year, Undergraduate Research Week hosted its first ever Community Engagement and Social Justice Research Day, which showcased the work of undergraduates whose research explored community- and social justice-oriented topics.

Additionally, the Investigating L.A. Student Panel highlighted the work of undergraduates whose research explored Los Angeles from different angles.

URW 2023 Highlights

Undergraduate Research Week 2023’s virtual Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase featured the research and creative projects of 1,658 students, with 583 livestreamed presentations on May 23 and 587 recorded presentations, multimedia, and creative exhibits throughout the week. Additionally, the Creating New Knowledge Student Panel highlighted the work of five undergraduate students who are furthering research in their fields.

URW 2022 Highlights

Undergraduate Research Week 2022’s virtual Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase featured the research and creative projects of 1,397 students, with 494 livestreamed presentations on May 24 and 415 recorded presentations, multimedia, and creative exhibits throughout the week. Additionally, the Innovation and Community Student Panel highlighted four undergraduate students who leveraged commnunity and innovation in their research and creative practice.

URW 2021 Highlights

Undergraduate Research Week 2021’s virtual Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase featured the research and creative projects of over 1,000 students, with 360 livestreamed presentations on May 24 and 489 recorded presentations, multimedia, and creative exhibits throughout the week. Additionally, the Research in the Time of COVID Panel highlighted four undergraduate students whose research was influenced by COVID.

URW 2020 Highlights

Undergraduate Research Week 2020 introduced the first-ever virtual Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase. In 2020, 785 students gathered to share their research and creative projects as live and recorded presentations, and thousands of visitors joined us online.

URW 2019 Highlights

Undergraduate Research Week 2019 featured in-person events including Research Poster Day at Pauley Pavilion, and the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences Oral Presentations at the Luskin Conference Center, in addition to partner events across campus throughout the week. Over 1,000 students presented research and creative projects at Undergraduate Research Week 2019.
